"Item arrived different from photo. It has a flange on the end opposite the hub end and will not fit as I had intended for my bulk poultry feeder. I was hoping to insert the small end through the tub wall from the outside and have the hub end act as a stop, but the flange at the other end prevents this as I would have to make the hole way too large to fit the flange through. I am going to try reversing it and using a bead of silicone on the flange and inside of the feeder opening. If the chickens can't reach the bottom due to the extra length of the hub inside, or if they push it into the tub trying to do so, that will not work."
