Quickie Bulldozer - Best leaf scoop ever
"I purchased one of these leaf/debris scoops on sale at Lowe's several years ago. I have dozens of old-growth oak trees in my 3 acre yard, and the leaf clean-up each year is overwhelming. I save the leaves for use in my vegetable garden. I also place them around the trees as natural mulch beds, since grass will not grow well around the trees. The leaves have decomposed by the next fall and the soil is great for planting azaleas around the edge of the leaf-line around the trees. I use a battery-powered leaf blower to stack the leaves in huge piles. The "Quickie Bulldozer" has been invaluable to scoop up huge piles of leaves to place in a large plastic garbage can. I compress them down into the can with the side of the scoop, and pick up the can and haul the leaves away for mulch. I do use a battery--operated leaf blower to blow the leaves into piles, and use a rake to place the leaves into the scoop. I highly recommend this handy tool to anyone who loves yard work as I do but has an over-abundance of leaves each fall."
