Why it wins
Why cross-woven beats flat poly
Standard sheeting tears the moment it catches a rock or a nail. Our reinforced cross-woven structure spreads the load across thousands of fibers — so it holds.
A tight cross-weave grid resists punctures and stops tears from spreading across the barrier.
Layered polyethylene creates an impermeable seal against moisture and soil gases — not just a cover.
Maintains structural integrity through humidity, temperature swings and years of ground contact.
The Liner Guys VS. Other Brands
The difference between protecting your home's health & value — and risking it.
| Feature | Liner Guys | Other Brands |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | True & consistent mil | Thin & inconsistent |
| Puncture resistance | Unrivaled — cross-woven | Low — prone to tear & fray |
| Protection lifespan | Permanent, lifelong | Short-term |
| Moisture & radon seal | Full moisture & radon block | Inferior moisture seal |
| Installation | Easy, flat, fewer seams | Difficult & wrinkled |
| Grade & trust | Professional grade | Consumer grade basic |

Frequently Asked Questions
Which mil thickness do I need?
For standard residential crawl spaces, the 12 Mil is the proven workhorse. Step up to 16 Mil for high-traffic areas or rough terrain where you want extra puncture resistance, and choose 20 Mil for permanent, extreme-duty encapsulation systems and maximum radon protection. All three options come in the same 12 ft × 100 ft roll.
Why a 12-foot-wide roll?
A wider roll means fewer seams across the crawl space, resulting in faster installation, fewer potential weak points, and a cleaner, flatter finish. One roll covers 1,200 sq ft.
Does it actually block radon?
Yes. Our reinforced cross-woven barriers are engineered to block ground moisture, humidity, and soil gases, including radon, helping protect indoor air quality and your foundation's long-term integrity. The 20 Mil option offers our highest level of protection.
Can I use it beyond crawl spaces?
Absolutely. The same reinforced sheeting can be used as a sub-slab vapor barrier, for concrete curing, construction-site and equipment covering, agricultural applications, and heavy-duty jobsite containment.
Do you offer contractor or bulk pricing?
