These rods are designed for the homeowner in mind and use 1/4 inch NPT threading to connect to your brushes. Attach them to a Rutland chimney sweep or round poly chimney brush and you can clean your chimney from the top down or clean though your open fireplace. The fiberglass is flexible enough to handle slight offsets, but not enough to bend around corners meaning your straight up and down cleaning will have the power behind it that you need.
