"This product has worked in an area needing a heat shield.It's in an area on an 84' AMC motor where exhaust manifold and intake manifold enter and exit on the same side of the cylinder head. The close proximity can cause vapor lock. There is very little space between the plenums. By using this adhesive and a flexible heat shielding material and applying it directly to the exhaust manifold this problem has been eliminated."
