For your garden, pots, planters, and more! Mother Earth Hydroton clay pebbles are a unique, lightweight, expanded clay aggregate made in Germany. The natural clay is mined, formed into pellets, then kiln-fired at high temperatures to cause the clay to expand into tough, lightweight balls. These Mother Earth clay pebbles naturally have balanced capillary action with an ideal surface structure. Hydroton brand expanded clay is semi-porous and generally does not float like other products. The clay pebbles for plants hold water extremely well. The 10 liter bag will fill approximately 24x 3'', 21x 3.75", 10x 5", 8x 5.5'' or 4 - 8'' net pots. It is reusable, clean, and odorless. The Hydroton clay provides support when planting or growing plants like tomatoes and peppers. Note: For best results, rinse all expanded clay before use.
