Great little item
"We replaced a previous plastic soap dish that was in a built-in wall unit and it works. Wasn't able to find the exact right size to fit as a soap dish insert but since this is the right shape, it works fine. It had the correct spacer supports on the underneath of the "dish" part that fit over the 2 supporting screws in our metal insert which was nearly impossible to find in any other soap dish. As you can see from the photo, there's a little space between the back of the dish and the wall of the unit, but it still works and can be taken in and out to keep clean."
