This Weld-on Purple Primer Cleaner lets you effectively prepare the plastic pipe and fitting surfaces for solvent cement bonding with Weld-On PC-64. This low-VOC PVC primer is used for the surface preparation of PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings. It penetrates, softens, and removes the surface gloss for maximum adhesion. The PVC cleaner is compatible with all classes and schedules of PVC and CPVC. Note: Not recommended to use with potable water systems or applications where codes are involved.
